The Family Behind Montura Gardens
Montura Gardens, based in South Florida, was founded in 2021 by Hany and Yunier Nunez-Gazo, who turned their love of tropical fruit trees into a thriving family business.
Their journey began with a single Glenn Mango Tree, sparking Hany’s fascination with the remarkable diversity of mango flavors and characteristics. Today, Montura Gardens has blossomed from just 50 trees to over 2,500, sharing their passion for tropical fruit trees with communities across Florida.
When you place an order, you’ll connect with Hany, who handles client communications and daily operations. For deliveries, you’ll meet Yunier, who personally transports Montura Gardens’ trees to their new homes throughout Florida 🚚
In their own collection, the Nunez-Gazo family grows a variety of beloved trees, including mangos, avocados, bananas, sugar apples, and barbados cherry. Their favorite mango cultivars include Karen Michelle (#1), Phoenix, Ugly Betty, Super Alphonso, and Val-Carrie. They also enjoy growing the following avocado cultivars: Oro Negro, Choquette, Catalina, Brogdon, and Marcus Pumpkin.
